My artwork is an extension of my heart and mind, an expression of the microscopic and unforeseen. It explores, questions and celebrates the intricacies of life and the myriad colors of the universe. I want to bring others with me on a marvelous journey to celebrate, indulge in, explore and get lost in the whimsical complexity of life.

Alex Butler's drawings explore life through a colorful prism of whimsical images, silly faces and intricate lines. She earned a BA in Sociology from Hunter College and a Film Certificate from the New York Film Academy. She is a self taught artist from New York, currently living in Los Angeles.
