I love creating beauty around myself and those around me since childhood, which I still do with great pleasure.

I really love stones, very much. It gives me great pleasure to look at their veins, texture, to unravel the stories that are in every pebble, to talk with them)

Nature, music, meditation help to tune in to creativity. To music, birdsong and in a cozy atmosphere, creativity seems to flow easily, calmly, joyfully. Creations are special, warm, filled with light!

You always want all creations not only to decorate you or your interior, but to be especially dear to you, to become loved, to serve as an amulet or talisman. In order for the creations to become in tune with your soul, during creativity I think about you, I tune in with your soul, filling the creations with God's help with those energies and information that you need. So that with amulets harmony of soul, body and mind comes into your life in the Divine flows of love and Light!

Currently, my creations live all over the world and delight their owners in Russia, USA, France, Italy, Thailand, Germany, Kazakhstan and other countries.

My paintings on canvases and panels with jewelry painting took part in an international exhibition in Los Angeles with a genuine relic of Buddha and in Tibetan temples in California and St. Petersburg.

As well as jewelry, panels, participants in international competitions and live with wonderful connoisseurs of art:

-Panno "Woman with an umbrella" (based on the painting of the legendary Claude Monet) was created for the princess of Thailand.

-Panno "Unity" was ordered as a gift by a grateful student to her teacher - a healer who lives in Prague.

-The "Helicopter - Sun" brooch was created for a wonderful athlete, currently a sports judge of the All-Russian Federation of the Ministry of Sports, which is a member of the Aviation Women's Union "AVIATRISA"

- Panel "Buddha. Enlightenment of the World "a gift from a student to his Buddhist teacher, as a sign of gratitude, respect, gratitude.

-Panno "On the same wavelength with the universe" took 2nd place in the international competition "Russian Art Week" 2019

Joel Anderson created “Mozart and the Mind of Music”, especially for Mainly Mozart of San Diego’s Mozart and the Mind Symposium. Featured in the painting is Mozart with his amazing brain overflowing with musical notes that become some of the most amazing compositions we all know and love. Included are a few musical instruments that Mozart played. Joel also played the piano, violin and recorder. “My passion is for my art to make you smile. I enjoy using bright colors. When I hear music, I see color in the notes and sometimes that will show up in my art. When I paint portraits, sometimes I paint upside down so I do not get distracted by the emotions of the eyes of my subject. This way I can paint the shapes and shadows. In the end I will flip it over to finish the eyes and hope to capture the soul.

Metaphysical paintings of Space and Being.

Creativity for me is, first of all, an opportunity to travel and discover other worlds that exist both inside the human Soul and far beyond the boundaries of the Universe known to us.

The main thing in my work is bringing harmony, beauty and love into the world, inalienable manifestations and qualities of the New Time. And I sincerely believe that my creative message to our contradictory world will make it a little brighter and kinder.

Aleksandr Andromeda Dor is Russian artist, writer and traveler, whose works can be compared with temples in terms of energy, with their ringing acoustics and multidimensional sound of domes.

Aleksandr's paintings like portals, open the curtain of the cosmic versatility of our World, which is embodied in different images on canvases, reminding the beholder of something Higher - of the eternal, timeless nature of his Soul, undoubtedly beautiful, woven from love and perfection of the Universe.

Aleksandr was born in 1960 in Syberia.

And there he started his professional career, become a member of the first avant-garde association of artists of Siberia in Omsk - "Echo" and "Cross" (1987-88-89).

In 1989 Alexander moved to St. Petersburg, where he discovered a completely extraordinary and

wonderful world of creativity of the most diverse artists, and he continued his development as an

artist here.

All subsequent years, Aleksandr spent a lot of time traveling to the East - to the great mountains of

Altai and the Himalayas. One of the reasons for this was the interest to visit the places where the

Roerich family was present and lived, to whose work and life path he always felt attraction and

closeness.

Also, mountains always was a special source of inspiration for Aleksandr. Quote: "In the mountains I always filling with energy and secrets of the world; I peer and listen to the multidimensional spaces of their depths, in search of the magical land of Shambhala, and then transfer the experienced states into my paintings and books."

Drawing mandalas for me is an expression of God through my creativity.

My name is Mariana, I was born in Moldova, but I have been living in Russia for more than 10 years. I started my career with a passion for oil painting, but after a while I started to get interested in spot painting with acrylic paints. For 5 years I have been creating energy paintings of mandalas in the style of spot painting with acrylic.

In 'The Eye' Augus works with metallic paints to tell a story about what the eye sees and what it interprets, which can be two completely different interpretations. The definition and depth of this artwork with it's multitude of layered colors make this an impressive wall piece for your foyer or living room. A perfect work for above the fireplace.

Paul Augus is a self-taught artist in Bali, Indonesia. He expresses himself through abstract art creating a story in the thick layers of paint, equivalent of a wall sculpture.

Original Mandalas from Nepal are made for peace, prosperity and protection. The Lama artist (master artist) created this piece using mineral paints with plant based derivatives and 22 carat gold for purity.

The Kalachakra Mandala is The Wheel of Time. The wheel with no beginning and no end is also the Universal symbol of Buddhism. The mandala is the residence of the kalachakra deity - the enlightened being who resides in the center. Many mandalas made by monks from sand, are created over weeks, and then destroyed upon completion as a lesson about the impermanence of life.

Red Mandala from Nepal represent the teachings of the Buddha. Mandala means circle. The wheel with no beginning and no end is also the Universal symbol of Buddhism. The Tibetan prayer 'Om Mani Padme Hum' is repeated numerous times within the circle in Sanskrit, equivalent to its being chanted. Mandalas are made for peace, prosperity and protection.

I am an art curator and founder of The Rural Painter. I source spiritual works of art from SE Asia, offering the artists a platform for their work.

Both my work are especially driven by a need for texture, and feature a level of impasto that indicates a sculptural value. I work with paint, canvas, papier mache, wood and other media to create pieces that do not subsume the materials within the content, but instead make the materials I am using part of the subject matter. Whether abstract or figurative, my work will often integrate tactility into a design or pattern, but it is not the product of a conscious or intellectual plan. No one said this better than the art critic Tony Cavanaugh, who wrote that I create "with an intuitive feeling, as though the imagery springs directly from the artist's unconscious in the manner of automatic writing." Another way of saying this is that my work comes from a part of my psyche that is hidden from me. Or more recently this is a side of myself I find when it is as if I have entered a magical forest, or a magical forest that is always waiting for me; a forest that as Baudelaire says, is filled with things that “look at me with familiar eyes.”

Meg Boe Birns is an artist, poet, and literary critic living and working in the East Village. She has studied privately with Lenora Shargo of the Maryland Institute of Art, Henry Pearson of The New School and Pennsylvania Academy of Art, and has also been a student in a number of art classes at The New School. She has exhibited her work in a variety of venues in and around New York City, including the Small Works at the Washington Square East Gallery, the TNC Gallery, the Ridge Street Gallery, the Lynn Prince Gallery, and the Art for Healing Gallery. Her drawings have been published in the Art Times, Collages and Bricolages, The Creative Woman and on the cover of the premiere issue of I, The First Person. She has been given awards by the Rockland Center for the Arts and the National Art League.

Budiawan depicts his local Balinese culture in this painting. In The Balinese Lady, he uses bold brush strokes and plays with bright colors creating form within the abstract.

Ketut Budiawan from Bali studied at the Senior School of Art in Denpasar, Bali, and built a small community of artists called SaptaKanti (7 friends) who paint together. He works in a cultural exchange program between Indonesia and Taiwan.

My photographic collages are layers of my reflections and observations, being personal, political or historical.

Like our life experiences, these thoughts accumulate on top of each other, to create my feelings and emotions that get expressed in the artwork.

The layering process coincides with the synthesis of creating visual pieces that invites one to investigate and explore the given information.

Like in previous works of mine, made on glass, the technique and the transparencies in my photographic digital collages are an important part of the art, they emphasis the build-up process and the blending which creates the images.

Vered Galor has been involved with the fine art world as an artist, curator and educator for over thirty years. She received her BA and MA in Fine Art from California State University in Northridge in 1975 and 1978.

Mrs. Galor started her career as glass sculptor. In 1981 she established a business doing curatorial projects and consulting in Contemporary Fine Art.

She lectured, participated in discussions and wrote art programs to encourage the collaboration of Art and Architecture.

Since 1989 Mrs. Galor has been concentrating on photography. She has been creating here own work, teaching photography and showing with galleries in Los Angeles California, Fort Collins and Loveland, Colorado and Las Vegas Nevada.

I have always enjoyed the creative process. In addition to being a means of expression and a source of great enjoyment, art is a means of healing ourselves and facilitating the healing in others. I have worked in a variety of media, including printmaking, pen and ink, colored pencils and markers, watercolors, acrylics and oils. My favorite themes include Judaica, landscapes, leaves and doves. I also enjoy exploring the abstract.

Debora Gillman has studied art at UCLA, UC Santa Cruz, Otis and Los Angeles City College.

Exhibits include a group show in the Adult Education Division of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; individual and group shows at Park La Brea, including their annual “Art in the Park” events,where she has contributed a variety of award winning banner art and Tower Art designs. Other venues include The American Museum of Science & Energy in Oak Ridge, Tennessee; the Don O'Melveny Gallery, Los Angeles and The JAN Gallery, Los Angeles. Her work is also part of the permanent collection at Cedars Sinai, Los Angeles.

Debora has taught workshops for children and adults at Park La Brea and the Craft and Folk Art Museum. She has also coordinated and help put on numerous local community events. “Debi Doodles” is her popular coloring book creation for kids for the holidays as well as other themes. Debora has written and illustrated three books for young readers: THE PAINTER'S DREAM; DRAWING FROM THE MASTERS; and AN UN-BEAR-ABE SITUATION: BEARS AND THE ENVIRONMENT. She co-wrote and co-illustrated the third book with her mother, Miriam Gillman, who is also an artist/writer. Debora thanks her mother for "sharing her creative gene with her." In a common flow, time flies by imperceptibly.

For me, creating a picture is a magical act. It is like the Creator Himself is guiding my hand, and a miracle appears on the canvas.

I dreamed about becoming a mother, but I couldn't get pregnant for a long time because of health problems. That led me to the School of Practical Psychology, where I got acquainted with various practices. After one of the practices, I suddenly got a desire to draw.

I took the first thing that came to hand. They were simple markers and an A4 sheet. I began to draw some lines, absolutely without thinking what exactly I was drawing about. I got therefore my first mystical drawing.

The desire of drawing was getting stronger and stronger every day. I just had to close my eyes, and I saw different images: a cross, a soaring eagle, which formed the basis of my drawings. Sometimes I just sat down and started drawing at once. From a simple squiggle, a real plot was born.

Very special drawings came to me during my trip with my husband to Turkey. The subjects of these drawings seemed to tell me that the Soul of the child were already inside me and that were a boy. After coming back home, after some time passed, I realized that I was pregnant. It was a real Miracle!

After my Son was born, I wanted to give life to my drawings and turn them into works of art. I am sure that the energy of these images is very strong, and I want to share them with the World. I hope that my work will resonate in Your Hearts, and my paintings will be able to fill Your Home with Divine Energy.

Mountain Pass depicts the majestic Himalayas, the subject of many Nepali artists. He uses a variety of shades and tones creating perspective in the scenic layers.

Artist Gopi Hails from Kathmandu and creates beautiful sceneries of this region. He has been painting most of his career and loves to explore dimension and color.

Georganne Aldrich Heller, daughter of the famous fashion designer and art collector Larry Aldrich and a successful designer is an artist in her own right. She makes collages building on the vision that drove her long career as a theatrical producer in New York. Each collage and boxed construction represents a setting of evolving mysteries, opening the way to surreal dramas inviting viewers to enter the world of her dreams, yet unruled by any sort of literary content. Izabel Raa is an award-winning Russian-born American artist, music composer, and author. Her paintings serve as gateways to meditation — vivid portals into states of balance, serenity, and awakening. My work is inspired by the natural world. Travels abroad and within the U.S. are reflected in my paintings of landscapes and florals. Using acrylics, I begin my preparation with various gels to achieve a textured ground on canvas, board, and paper. Pouring on mylar, using various papers dipped inn paint, and incorporating collage produce hidden surprises that move me forward. I love to experiment with different tools, brushstrokes, palettes, techniques to create atmosphere, illuminate sunsets & reflections on water, sunlight on mountain tops, and trees changing with the seasons.

My art is a work in progress, a joyful and challenging journey that has opened exciting vistas. As a painter, my lifetime goal is to release my inner spirit, be in the present, develop patience, & create from my heart.

Alli began her art journey in 2010 after retiring from a 35 year career in education, teaching high school in LAUSD and BHUSD, California.

She studied watercolor and acrylic in a small group setting with artist Ilana Bloch, in her private studio in Culver City, CA, 2010-2017.

Alli continued her art education completing live model drawing classes at Emeritus College, Santa Monica, CA, 2014-2016.

She studied abstract painting at Otis College of Art & Design, Continuing Education Department, Westchester, CA, 2016-2018.

Alli was accepted into small group, private painting classes with her Otis instructor Linda Jacobson, who has remained her mentor until the present.

Artist Kasem Khaolar from Chiang Mai, Thailand specializes in abstracts. His is inspired by the beauty of nature. He is a renowned artist who has exhibited in Hong, Kong, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and even in New Jersey twice. He received an award from the Chelsea Art Gallery in New York.

Taking "reduce and reuse" principle to the next level I build abstract 2d and 3d compositions with found objects from hi-tech world. Disassembled practical gadgets become pieces of the puzzle that join paint and clay in my artworks. The concept of my current series "Deconstructed" resonates well with "Evolve. Women. Wisdom." theme. It deals with the evolution of knowledge (computers, phones, robot gears, data, concrete) into wisdom (balance, minimalism, harmony, intuitive awareness, abstract).

Lina was born in Kiev, Ukraine, where she graduated from the School of Visual Arts. She has always strived to find balance between her passion for arts and interest in technology. In 2000 she obtained a

masters degree in computer science with a specialization in multimedia and creative technologies from USC, and now enjoys a successful career in software engineering. Lina has pursued her interest in visual art and has studied ceramics and sculpture in Los Angeles since 1996.

Linas clay and mixed media creations have been very well received in exhibitions at the Orlando Gallery, The Style Lounge, Pacific Design Center, VIVA Art Center, American Museum of Ceramic Art, Xiem Gallery, Red Dot Gallery in Palm Springs, Neutra Museum in Silver Lake. Her art is in private and corporate collections nationwide. Lina participates in the Annual California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Art in Davis, California, and is a member of Los Angeles Experimental Artists group.

The land has always been a reference and source of inspiration for my art. My first paintings were watercolor landscapes. But wanting to work more conceptually, I began to ask questions regarding issues that combined formalism, globalization and those concerning the environment. These queries led to using both abstraction and representation in an attempt to bring an awareness of the earth’s profound beauty and fragility. However, deciding to do something more proactive about the environment led to a four-year gardening project; one that fed artist/gardeners and built community within a community.

The projects that followed began my investigation of perception using photography, but always viewing it from the eye of a painter. Photographing the garden, I created close up images of the heirloom tomatoes and their insides.

Then began my experimentation with process and perception. The first series realized a life-long dream of combining painting and photography in the same image, using photographs of walls and natural objects from my travels. The second series experimented with emulsion, releasing the translucent image of a photo from its paper background. Current bodies of work use the emulsion technique, in addition to archival pigment prints on Slickrock creating a synthetic three-dimensionality.

Kunik was originally a plein-air watercolorist, but wanting to work more conceptually, she returned to school, earning a BFA from Otis College of Art and Design. Informed by environmental and global issues, Kunik’s abstract paintings began referencing these same issues, prompting a four-year community gardening project, which also explored photography and perception. Thus began her investigation of process: combining photography and painting and a unique emulsion process for photographs.

Kunik has been in more than 100 exhibitions in galleries and museums in California, New York and internationally, including Italy, Germany, Japan, Thailand and Peru. She recently received three Gold Awards and five Awards for Excellence for her work at the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum. She has shown at Art Basel, Art Basel Miami, and Photo LA. Kunik was born in Chicago, Illinois, earning a BA degree from the University of Illinois and an MS from DePaul University. She moved to California in 1978, where she currently resides.

My art name is Lark - the bird that lingers between the earth and the sky. We artists do it at the moment of inspiration and meditation. That's how I create my art. I meditate and start with the spontaneous movements of my instruments; usually it is not a brush. A brush makes me think. My instruments are usually just pieces of cardboard. I also paint on any surface – canvas, board, plexiglass, glass, wood, etc – and I love to experiment and see what happens. My best creations take place in a state of no mind.

Although I begin the way abstract expressionists do and use some sumi-e techniques, eventually most of my creation starts shaping as abstract or impressionistic landscapes as ocean, sky, trees, flowers and mountain views start appearing from the formless. Nature is my source of inspiration, but instead of landscape details I channel nature's moods, the feeling of being one with nature, and swimming in its atmospheric light.

Light is what drives me to continue working. My mission is always to bring more light to people around me with my art, poetry and meditations. I know that viewers feel joy, peace and harmony when they look at my work, enter and settle inside it because it heals their emotional wounds and it makes me happy. Being an artist is an opportunity to express the fountain of my creative energy and at the same time serve people's needs in beauty that will heal the world.

When people perceive the light, the high and playful energy that my paintings emanate, they start feeling they are back in the fairy-tale world of their childhood, when their soul was open to transformations and miracles, and they feel like Alice in her enchanting wonderland.

Liana was born in Moscow, Russia.She lived in Asia - India, Indonesia, Thailand and China for 7 years and was studying buddhist and hindu arts and phylosophy. Liana is an art meditation instructor for kids an adults, practicing and teaching in Los Angeles, California.

I use art as a means to express my reactions to my environment. In this way what you see is akin to the emanations from a sound box where the acoustics of sounds, life circumstance and landscape have combined at one moment in time. The subject matter is not the subject. The process is often as important as the result. I have recently included with my abstract, tactile paintings, more objective work, but the impetus is the same. Just as each person responds differently to music, I expect each viewer will respond differently to what they see.

Why am I a photographer?

I first began shooting because the experience of photographing people was a way of getting to know them and saving the experience. It made me feel really alive. Then, during my long advertising career, it became a terrific way to solve creative challenges. But still there was always, underneath, the element of wonderment.

Now, as I travel and meet people from different cultures, who kindly allow me into their homes and environments, I am filled with awe as I look through the lens. Sometimes it feels like I'm just sketching elements of personal history as I'm shooting, until the shot suddenly appears. That's when the shutter really goes to work!

The images in my new show, Exploring Humanity, at the Miami Airport, are the culmination of a lifetime of photographing people; and now exploring their lives using my camera as a window into their humanity.

Nancy Ney

As one of New York City's most sought after advertising and lifestyle photographers for decades, Nancy Ney has won multiple industry awards, including the Clio. Journey from Chiang Mai, Thailand takes us on a Buddhist journey by monks in search of the Truth. The monochromatic tones give the painting depth and a new dimension. Monks are generally shown departing from the basics of daily life.

Art is my way of life

Mark Pol, born 17th October 1943 in The Hague has found an early passion for painting. His interest in drawing and painting started in primary school. And later on he went to the Photo Academy followed by the Free Academy of Art led by George Lampe, both in The Hague.

The work of Mark Pol, also shown on his website (http://www.markpol.nl), is in essence inspired by daily human life, without losing its vulnerability and the animal unpredictability. Despite the timeframe the painting or drawing might seem to be in, humanity is key in his work.

In the early stage of a painting, Mark Pol draws his thoughts and dreams with a pencil and then continues his vision with a basis of oil - or acryl paint on canvas. The expression of Mark Pol are often too much for the two dimensional canvas and the result is a three dimensional world, shown in different materials.

The connections between psychology and art have been the constant subject of my paintings. became fascinated with this theme during my practice as a clinical psychologist, an experience that helped me to infuse my art with principles based on different lines of thought in psychology. Some Freudian concepts, ideas from the Phenomenology, concepts of the Psychology of Gestalt and some Jungian concepts are particularly important to my artworks. Since I moved to Minnesota, instead of continuing my clinical practice, I have centered my focus exclusively on painting, making it my way of stimulating people?s psychological dynamics. The intention of my work is to make people creatively question what they are seeing, and to make contact with their innermost being. For me, art is a type of embodiment in which experience creates matter. It is a way of awakening perception by addressing the senses directly, which allows better conditions to facilitate the communication between the person and his or her deeper self.

Silvana LaCreta Ravena is a versatile artist who works with oil, resin and encaustic techniques in abstract paintings and sculptural collages that connect psychology and art. She also makes wearable art.

Silvana was educated as a psychologist and also holds degrees in art therapy, art history and a master degree in fine arts. She established her studio in Minnesota in 2006 and, since then, has exhibited widely throughout the US and Europe. She is represented in galleries in Miami, Denver, Minneapolis, Scottsdale and other cities including Lisbon in Portugal. Her art has been featured in several American and European art publications, TV art shows like PBS- Minnesota Original. She has received prizes in both the US and Germany and her works integrate private collections in the USA, EU and Brazil.

Her series of abstract work explores multiple themes related to the connections between psychology and art. The landscapes, for instance, are a journey of story telling and memoir inspired by the emotional impact of her travels. They pay homage to special places she visited, orchestrating an archeology of colors and texture heavily influenced by her studies about the psychology of perception.

Her wearable art is primarily focused on the importance of bees to our culture. Silvana attach, fuse and embed fragments of her large sculptural encaustics to media such as resin, leather, and metals to create contemporary jewelry that highlights beeswax as a precious material.

Cindy Rinne lives in San Bernardino. Cindy builds on ideas by digging deep into a myriad of cultures and is inspired by nature. Time is split to reveal the secrets; the sacredness of the soul. She stitches stories into textile collages; layering and obliterating fragments of cloth or fusing plastic bags. Her poetry and art are collaborative elements that bounce back-and-forth creating narrative. This is a connective process that creates a whole out of curvilinear pieces. Translucent veils draw the viewer into intimacy, mystery, and discovery – that wish to speak as a negotiation of the surface.

She works on several pieces at once to allow ideas to percolate. Each artwork consists of improvisational aspects. The stitch pierces paper and textiles; also, wrapping itself around a cord. Paper may be sewn to fabric contrasting hard and soft. Textiles can hang like tapestries or are quilted in three layers. Brush and pen connect to paper or fabric. Many of the ethnic fabrics and embellishments are gifts. Cindy reuses the elements encompassing voices of the past and including the story of the original owner. Layers reveal destruction, change, and rebirth.

Cindy Rinne is a San Bernardino artist and poet who has created fine art for over 40 years. She started creating fiber art over 30 years ago. She had tapestries in “Woven Stories” at MOAH (Lancaster Museum of Art and History) and at RAFFMA at Cal State San Bernardino for “Voices of Ancient Palmyra Resounded.” She participated in “50/50, FIFTY/FIFTY, The Creative Magic of Collaboration” at the Progress Gallery, Pomona, CA. Also, “I Pity the Poe” at The Hive Gallery in Los Angeles. Cindy was featured at “100 Vibrant Artists at the Neutra” in Los Angeles. Cindy curated and exhibited at Chaffey Community Museum of Art and the Inland Empire Museum of Art. She exhibited with “Old Broads” curated by Karen Karlsson in several southern California galleries. Her art was at the Ontario Airport through 2019. Cindy was selected for “Hobson’s Choice” at the Torrance Art Museum. She has exhibited at the Beatnik Lounge and La Matadora Gallery in Joshua Tree and is represented by Desert Peach Gallery in Yucca Valley, CA.

creating sculptures out of organic materials, to convey an emotion that reflects the dichotomy between hard stones and soft metals, such as fossilized walrus tusk ivory and alabaster.

Living in Alaska influenced the work of Roland whose kayaks were on display in San Francisco and show the influence of the native traditions. Later he went on to create a pink alabaster sculpture whose form and shape is used in

Alaska to welcome strangers into their village.

Roland combined mechanical and artistic abilities helped him to win a first prize with his creation of a modified 1969 Triumph motorcycle for which the pieces and parts were all hand made. The motorcycle is currently on display in

Northern California. He is currently creating for a special commission two new alabaster sculptures influenced by art from the South Pacific. Roland Also enjoys creating jewelry from natural stones and other natural materials.

Roland studied at the University of Anchorage Alaska and Toronto School of Art in Canada

In The Fishing Village, Samsudin uses a black and white palette to create an almost cinematic mood. The starkness of light and shadow provide a break from saturated color. He worked with imperfect lines and thick brush strokes to capture one of the many fishing villages in Indonesia.

Artist Tony Samsudin was born in Bali, Indonesia in 1950. He was a self-taught artist who enjoyed painting local scenes and the Balinese culture. He passed in 2017.

The painting 'Devotion' uses texture on basic canvas to give the painting an almost sculptural rendering. Sand or paper is stuck down on the canvas and painted over with oils to give a grainy effect. This is done to elicit an emotional response to the art.

Artist Cholis Shaputra from Bali is 49 years old and experiments with various mediums in his work. Originally from Japan, he married a Balinese lady and settled in Indonesia. A self-taught artist, he is constantly pushing the boundaries in his work. He is known for his large Buddhist images.

I like the moment when a new creation is not yet mine, not yet in my

imagination - but already is tickling my subconscious.

Working with paints, knowing their elasticity, and exploring new

textures and color shades allows me to move them on the canvas

spontaneously.

But it only seems so. In reality it happens under the guidance of my

soul.

It is my soul that expresses itself on canvas, showing its flights and

falls, joys and sadness, and then gives birth to an image. My hands only

choose and move colors around, before the appearance of a new image

gives rise to new fantasies.

When a fantasy desires to continue over a series of my art, the process

gives birth to imaginary realities which emerge from the depth of my soul

and cry out to find release on the canvas. Only then can my hands

themselves put down the paints and hang alongside my body. Fatigue and

relief cover me with a light veil. Nothing more needs to be corrected

and completed.

My soul enjoys the liberation of previously collected feelings and

impressions of life whose meaning was unclear to me but which I can now

express. Also what my paintings let me express on canvas is a joyful light shining

from the soul. It is the wonderful space of creation.

Tatiana Yartseva is a Siberian and moved to California in 2024. She is an artist and interior design and lives and works between the city of Omsk and Los Angeles, where she received her formal art education and immersed herself in the local art scene, working at the Lark Gallery. In addition to solo shows, the artist is an active participant in international projects such as "Peaceful Freedom" (2018), "Evolve. Women. Wisdom." Ayhan Yavuz considers his style of art a combination of Expressionism, Symbolism, Pointillism and Art Nouveau. His artwork, filled with beautiful faces, intricate patterns, and hidden images, is done in acrylic paint.

Yavuz sees himself as a spiritual being. He likes the idea of bringing beauty, peace, joy, and harmony into the world. It is important for him to remain connected to his heart, as he believes that creating a beautiful piece of art is a way of giving back to life. To channel the energy from the subjects of his paintings, Yavuz communicates with his pieces during the creation process. Yavuz, paying close attention to what his subjects are willing to reveal, does not stand in the way of how his artwork chooses to come to life.

Those who have seen Yavuz’s art have expressed with such sincerity that his paintings contain fantastic energy, as if they truly are alive and interactive. The detail of his pieces have even caused some to mistake them for meticulously crafted fabrics. The collectors of his paintings are delightfully surprised as they continue to come across hidden images within the patterns Yavuz has painted.

Yavuz gets his inspiration from anything he is lucky enough to experience. Perception is the foundation to the intricacy of Yavuz’s work. Each piece is a monument to his love of working with patterns, symmetry, and unity among colors.

Ayhan Yavuz was born in 1965 in Izmir, Turkey. He currently lives in the greater Seattle area of Washington, USA.

Yavuz’s path to creating a career in art was not a direct one. The artist in him was put on the back burner as he pursued his profession in finances to support his family. Even though he wasn’t actively creating anymore, Yavuz knew that the artist within him was there and needed to be freed. It took hard work and quite some time for Yavuz to get back to his passion for art.

Through this journey of returning to calling, he learned that turning your back on your true self will cause you nothing but pain, regardless of how successful you are at fooling everybody else.

His life’s journey led him to become a Buddhist monk for a short period of time. He practices Mindfulness which is one of the most helpful tools he has learned, as he found that through creating he was able to experience a powerful deep meditation that connected him back to his imagination and love of art. While he started painting he also fulfilled a childhood dream of his and worked on writing books. He has published two books, titled “In the Cradle of Umbra” and “Azra’s Labyrinth”.

As he began his journey of rediscovering himself as an artist, Yavuz started exposing his art to the world. His artwork has been published in Rêve de Femmes for several years in a row. He has participated in multiple juried art shows along the West Coast and has exhibited his work in WA, MT, CA, and NY.

My paintings come out as attempts to "translate" from ideograms and fantastic hieroglyphs that I see in the patterns of nature, most often in the tree bark.

It is like listening to a song in an unknown language. Everyone will have their own guess of what the words might say, but the main theme of the song will be recognized.I am so thrilled by the moments of gazing into the patterns of nature when intuition gives a glimpse from the world of archetypes. I think that trees are books and libraries that can be read, perhaps as well as any thing around if we attune to it…

My paintings are sort of "snapshots" from the process of reading the Book of Nature by the mind;these "snapshots" are somewhere in between the imagery and the language.The mind projects meanings onto the shapes and lines, but they are being reflected back, startling and puzzling… there is always a sensation of a mirror dialog, of having been "read" yourself by the Book of Nature...

THE ZEN OF THE LAND

unites a visual trilogy of country people, their landscapes and lifestyles in humanist, spiritual, pictorial harmony. Willat brings a centered, thoughtful and organic approach to photography and to the living of a purposeful artists' life. The serenity in her images is both pensive and evocative; mirroring her contemplative intellect and ebullient personality. The artist’s best works percolate with a Mandala-full of life forces that emanate from her subjects, which she shoots in situ. Her most interesting pictures linger in the mind's eye. They move the viewer into spaces where we breathe deeper and slower- harmonizing with those who inhabit the visual world that Willat creates.

“I can get lost in the moment. The shutter seems to click on its own when I'm fortunate enough to capture someone at one with their environment. My favorite shots are not portraits and they’re not landscapes. I like to shoot people going about the living of their lives within their lands. They become defined by how and where they live. That’s what I’m known for.”

Jemmaa El Fna, a cityscape of Marrakesh’s town square, is a pageant of humanity where horse drawn carriages, push carts and shoe shine stands are readying the famous marketplace for day’s end. It perfectly expresses the interchangeability of Willat’s desire to characterize those she shoots by the places they inhabit and to portray these places by the persons who populate them.

Felice Willat is an award-winning travel photographer and publisher, whose images from Burma, Morocco, China, Vietnam and Argentina, capture the beauty of the human landscape across cultures. Willat's photographs have been juried into the Los Angeles Center for Photography, Photo LA, Photo Independent, TAG Gallery, Bergamot Station, the Brand Library, Glendale, CA, and numerous other venues across the United States and in London, UK and Italy.In 2010, Felice won First Prize, for her Travel images in the Southern California Council of Camera Clubs’ annual juried exhibition. In 2009 Felice published The Quiet Between, Song of Burma, a book of photography and poems.

Felice sees her camera as providing a sense of time expansion and stillness. She says, “I could capture a moment, something sacred or commonplace, an unconscious gesture, a tattered clothesline, a red plastic pitcher, or a worn prayer book. I like to leave the familiar, travel to far-away places, and find the gift of really being present.”
