Rita Janikyan

Rita Janikyan was born in Armenia, Yerevan in 1991. She moved to Russia with her family when she was seven years old. In Russia she attended the kids art club “Brigantina” where she learned the Thread Mosaic techniques at age ten. She had many art shows in Russia. In 2007 she got Irkutsk Region diploma the 3rd place on art and craft. During the same year she also received her diploma as a Master-Instructor of Thread Mosaic. On Feb. 29, 2008 she had a personal art exhibit where more than 1500 people attended from different parts of Russia in three days. “I create piece of art to express the deepest level of my emotions, they also are my diary. They make me feel complete and happy.”
